Contracts related to intellectual property rights

We draft and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property rights, including agreements for the transfer of copyright, licensing agreements, the transfer of industrial property rights, know-how agreements, implementation agreements, and also prepare legal opinions concerning the protection of intellectual property rights.

Protection against infringements

We advise on the most effective forms of protecting copyright and industrial property rights against infringement, including matters related to the protection and violation of personal rights, such as the personal rights of legal entities. Additionally, we provide guidance on responding to infringements of intellectual property rights, including copyright and industrial property rights.

Obtaining intellectual property rights

We provide support and advice on the registration of trademarks, industrial designs, inventions, utility models, and other intellectual property assets. We also handle registration procedures before the Polish Patent Office as well as the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

IT

We advise on legal matters related to computer software, the implementation of IT systems, and data processing within IT systems.

Contentious proceedings

We represent Clients in disputes related to the infringement of intellectual property rights (including online infringements) and support them in opposition proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

Competition law

  • we represent Clients in cases involving acts of unfair competition, particularly in matters related to the naming of businesses and entrepreneurs, goods and services, the breach of trade secrets, unfair imitation, as well as non-compete agreements, unfair contractual terms, and the dissemination of false information,
  • we review business activities and documents (contracts, regulations, etc.) to identify acts of unfair competition, particularly in relation to licensing, distribution, agency, and franchising agreements, as well as to ensure compliance with regulations protecting the collective interests of consumers,
  • we represent clients in proceedings related to combating acts of unfair competition before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, in courts of all instances, and before the Supreme Court,
  • we prepare applications and opinions related to merger control and provide advice in proceedings concerning the concentration of enterprises.
