National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) – Electronic Invoicing Platform

The National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) is a system introduced to streamline and automate the process of issuing and recording invoices. Through KSeF, taxpayers can take advantage of the electronic format of documents, eliminating the need to store traditional paper invoices.

For many businesses, issuing invoices using KSeF will be a revolution. It is important to remember that this solution affects the entire enterprise and can significantly impact many current processes. Therefore, it is advisable to adapt, among other things, sales and procurement processes now to make the most efficient use of this tool.

What does issuing an invoice in KSeF mean?

It will be a structured invoice that will be assigned an identifying number in the KSeF system.

Issuing an invoice in the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) means that it will need to be sent to KSeF in a specific XML format. The Ministry of Finance has provided a schema template – FA(3), which must be properly completed by the taxpayer.
